An R&D synergies committee fosters inter-group exchanges, on the subject of strategic suppliers for the group for instance, who are for the large majority identical for components and for production.

Current research focuses on the following:

- New technologies for raw materials by integrating sustainable development criteria since 2003.

- Product design with a deep focus on ergonomics, which we define as « technical comfort », practical intelligence (pockets, hoods, lacing, backpack closures, etc.) and durability (global eco-design criteria when choosing materials and the best construction for maximum long-lasting wear).

- Design, which is a key element in product differentiation on the market and in consumer choices.
